How to Use Aloe Vera As Shampoo

1. Cut off an outer leaf of your aloe vera plant. Choose one that is large and close to the ground, as these leaves will produce a more potent juice.

2.Cut the top off of your aloe vera leaf and squeeze it over a bowl to extract the juices. You will need 2 tbsp. of the juice.

3. Store the aloe juice in the refrigerator while you're preparing the other ingredients.

4. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil in a medium saucepan and add your dried flowers.

5. Turn the heat off and steep the flowers until the water has cooled.

6. Strain the infusion over another pot to catch the liquid.

7. Pour 1/3 cup of the flower infusion into an empty shampoo bottle using a funnel.

8. Add the olive oil, castile soap and aloe juice to the bottle.

9. Put the top on the shampoo bottle and shake it thoroughly until all of the ingredients have mixed well.

10. Lather the shampoo into your hair and rinse it thoroughly with water.
